It has been a little while since I last wrote. This year has just been so busy for all of us! A very Happy (belated) Thanksgiving to all.
Things are going very well for us. I have a job as a reading tutor at a local school here in Lakeland. Brandon has two jobs (both part-time) and is loving it. Kaylyn is supposed to be starting daycare here soon (thanks to my job for the awesome help)! Emma is almost four years old! Can you believe it??? She is officially in school as a preschooler and she loves going to see all of her friends and both her teachers. Mrs.Kathy and Mrs. Susan are two of the nicest people EVER! i love seeing all of the adorable little pieces of art she brings home for us. Jason is doing well. He is a first grader this year and enjoying it. We have had some issues with his attention and behavior (we think he is ADD/ADHD....YA THINK?????). But other than that all is well!
We had a wonderful Halloween as well. Jason was the red Power Ranger, Emma was Tinkerbell, and Kaylyn was Sleeping Beauty. By the end of the night she sure was Sleeping Beauty! lol
After having some issues with our landlord, we moved into a new house! It is a quaint 4 3 bedroom (kinda four. the garage was enclosed and turned into a separate room with an a/c unit), 1 bath with a HUGE backyard. I was so very excited. We put up our Christmas lights on Saturday. We were the first people to have our lights up in the whole neighborhood! It is so cute, and I love calling it home!
I am loving my new job as a reading tutor. I am a full-time worker. I work from 7:30am-4:00pm Monday through Friday. I have 16 kids Kindergarten through Third grade that I tutor. This I think is the first job that I actually enjoy getting out of bed for. Brandon is working with Ken still doing the whole irrigation thing and just started a new job today at Crispers! Can you say discount???? I love that place.
Along with all the good comes the bad. Things have been difficult regarding the custody battle. Nothing I want to get into now. I just try to look past and grow from it all. I hope all is well with you all! Christmas is almost here! Keep in touch!
